From the center of Baexem, the hike goes on quiet country roads through the countryside to the Tungelroyse brook, this brook is important in the water management of Central Limburg. Almost everywhere the stream meanders through the landscape again with a wide strip of grassland on both sides with bushes in various places. The grasslands are grazed by cattle, sheep and horses. The hike goes through the grassland along the stream. Estate Beijlshof is an estate around the Beijlshof farm. The estate consists of an alternation of forest, meadows and agricultural land, two streams flow through the estate, the Tungelroyse brook and the smaller Reydt brook. The name Beijlshof emerged as early as 1500. Jacob, Count van Horn was the owner. The brook valley of the Haelense brook borders the Estate Exaten with a striking Stockxhof farm on the edge, a 17th century farm with an old orchard. At the height of the farm you have a beautiful view over the brook valley with the meandering brook.
