Le Pinet

Near Mont Granier and on the south side of the Chartreuse massif lies the Pinet, also called "Le Truc". At the top you have a unique panorama of the main peaks of the Chartreuse such as Dent de Crolles, Chamechaude and Grand Som as well as of the Chaîne de Belledonne and the Mont-Blanc massif.

Charmant Som

This walking route is a classic in the Chartreuse nature park that takes you over a beautiful panoramic path, from where you can see the famous Grande Chartreuse monastery in the depths, to the top of the Charmant Som. Along the way you can often spot chamois on the edge of the cliffs.

Dent des Crolles

This walk, in the Hauts de Chartreuse nature reserve, goes via the Col des Ayes to the Trou Glaz, one of the largest underground tunnel systems in Europe. Via a number of secured passages it continues to the top of La Dent de Crolles from where you have a beautiful view of the Grésivaudan plain, the Belledone massif and sometimes the Mont Blanc massif.
