The Grote Molenbeek.
The Grote Molenbeek is the leitmotiv for this stage. The stream starts in Grashoek, and flows past Schatberg to Sevenum. Another source of the stream is located in the vicinity of the Mariapeel near Evertsoord. Soon after leaving Grashoek, the meandering brook is followed again. At the Schatberg the stage leaves the stream and goes through the forest area and then returns to the stream. The Schatberg forest area is a varied forest area with juniper bushes in a few places. The brook valley is an elongated nature reserve called Molenbeekdal, consisting of alder forest, poplar forest and small-scale landscapes with flowery wet grasslands. Before the stage ends in Sevenum, you will pass a small but beautiful nature reserve, the Elsbeemden, which is part of the elongated nature reserve of the Molenbeekdal. In the Elsbeemden the brook Elsbeek flows into the Grote Molenbeek. Just like the previous stage, you will pass a basalt column of the fictional Wegh van Meijl on Seven.
