From Liempde the line walk goes to the edge of the De Geelders area. On the edge, the former German Line is followed, the route was opened in 1878 as part of the London-Berlin-St. Petersburg connection. What remains is a last remaining stretch of railway line between Boxtel and Veghel. The tour then continues through small-scale agricultural areas to the Dommel. The Dommeldal consists of meadows, fields and bushes. The meadows are meadows and hay fields. Further from the river there are rounded fields on the higher grounds. For Sint-Oedenrode, the Dommel is temporarily left for a visit to the hamlet of Oud Rijsingen with, among others, Hoeve Arbeidslust or Kienehoeve, the original farm was the first reclamation farm of the Schijndelse Heide. After a visit to the hamlet, a small but nice part of Dommel is followed before the tour ends in Sint-Oedenrode. At Liempde the walking tour takes a ferry across the Dommel, the ferry may be out of service. More information about the ferry. Website: www.veerponten.nl

Point to point walk is the short version of the 20 kilometer long linear walk "Het Groene Woud-7", which starts at the station in Boxtel.
Practical information: At Liempde the walk crosses the Dommel by ferry, the ferry may be out of service, in which case follow the alternative route 'Pontje uit de vaart'. More information about the ferry can be found on the website Vrienden van de Veerponten. The alternative 'Diversions' consists of two diversions: The first can be followed instead of a narrow path along the Dommel that is sometimes closed, it can also be that it is open with a warning sign 'enter at your own risk'. The second can be followed during the extensive work on a Climate-robust Beekdal van de Dommel in Sint Oedenrode. The work is expected to be completed by the end of 2025.
