Halsche Beemden and Eikenhorst estate.

Reeburgpark is a park with a large pond and nearby the former town hall of Vught, Leeuwenstein, the former town hall is only used for representative purposes. The original Leeuwenstein was built in 1753 and was a country retreat. In the Halsche Beemden, a strolling path is followed along the Essche Stroom. Halsche Beemden has recently been completely redesigned, a meander has been created next to the Essche Stroom. In 1962, an important archaeological coin treasure was found in the Halsche Beemden, the so-called Vught Mint Treasure. Thousands of Roman coins were found, the artwork in the area is a lasting reminder of the coin treasure found. After leaving the Essche Stroom stream, the walking tour continues through the Eikenhorst estate. The Eikenhorst estate is an old estate laid out in the English landscape style, with water features that resembled natural waters with unexpected views towards the country house. The estate contains various monumental native oaks, beeches, sweet chestnut trees and exotic specimen trees. The walking tour goes via the Sparrenrijk nature reserve and recreational forest and the walking park with the beautiful Leijsenven to the station in Boxtel, the end point.
