Map & Poi's.

POI 1 - Westerschelde dike.

You can enjoy an impressive view on the Westerschelde dike. The enormous container ships that have the port of Antwerp as their final destination glide silently through the water. Oystercatchers and shelducks search for food on the muddy edges at the base of the dike. Redshanks are also looking for a meal.

POI 2 - Creek remnants.

Behind the barn there is a more than 700 meter long church path towards the Langeweg. The part around the old creek remains has been set up as a nature reserve. Every year a marsh harrier breeds in the reeds.

POI 3 - Partridge Field.

A nature development project was carried out here in 2018. Two amphibian pools have been dug, shrubs planted and a partridge field has been created. The fields are sown with flower mixtures where partridges and other field birds find shelter and food.
