The Keelgras.
The Keelgras, which consists of a covered and planted former waste landfill, is a nature reserve with a small marsh with a lot of reed on the edge. At the top is a watchtower with beautiful views of the area. De Mosbulten is a wetland nature area with a bird viewing screen on the edge. It was created at the end of the 20th century for nature development to compensate for the construction of the A50 motorway, two original pools were then restored. It has become a very attractive area, now some rare plants have been sighted again. There is a water abstraction area in the immediate vicinity of the Mosbulten, the hike goes through grassland as well as through the forests of the water abstraction area. The Mariahoutse Bossen is an elongated forest area with a beautiful narrow area of the Torreven and since 2019 the restored Vossenbergven. A point of interest is the Lourdes Cave of Mariahout, a 10-meter high and 25-meter wide Lourdes cave on the edge of the square in front of the church.
