Grenspark Kempen-Broek.
The Weerter forest and Hugterheide hiking area is on the border of Limburg and Noord-Brabant. It is located in the extreme north of the GrensPark Kempen-Broek. If you walk the yellow route you will pass the watchtower, the border church and the Hugterheide.

POI 1 - Grenspark Kempen-Broek.
The GrensPark Kempen ~ Broek is a 25000 ha area that alternates wet with dry, open with closed, nature with culture. It extends over the municipalities of Cranendonck, Weert, Nederweert, Bocholt, Bree, Kinrooi and Maaseik. The Kempen ~ Broek reveals a true mosaic of landscapes. You will find marshes, stream valleys, fens, forests, heaths, meadows, meadows, fields and large-scale agricultural areas. Many rare plant and animal species feel at home here.
