After leaving the village you walk through an open landscape towards the Weifberg. Here is the 37 meter high Weifberg Tower. From the tower you have a beautiful view of the vast surroundings. After visiting the Weifberg, you walk through an open landscape past the Kaltenbergblick viewpoint in the direction of a mixed forest. Eventually you arrive in the beautiful Weißach valley. You follow the winding river along the border with the Czech Republic. If you are lucky you can spot the Black Stork here. You leave the valley where the Weißach flows into the Kirnitzsch. You now walk along an unpaved road in the direction of the Obere Mühle. Here you can take a break and enjoy a snack or drink. You go through a piece of forest to arrive in an open landscape. Just before the village you can go back and forth to the Emmabank, a viewpoint.

POI 2 -Weifberg lookout tower.

The special charm of the view from the Weifberg Tower lies in the alternation between the rock formations of the Elbe Sandstone Mountains in front of the ridge of the eastern Ore Mountains and the conical mountains of the Bohemian Middle Mountains and the Kreibitzer Mountains. The Czorneboh greets you from the Lusatia Mountains in the north, the water tower in the northeast, the Bismarkturm near Neugersdorf and the Lausche in the east. Behind it, between the Wolfsbergspitze and the Lausche, we can see the Jizera Mountains and the Giant Mountains in the east with good visibility. To the right of the Lausche you can even see the Jeschken transmission tower. In the southeast lie the Kreibitzer Mountains, dominated by the Tannenberg and Kaltenberg. The mighty Rosenberg appears in the south.
