From the starting point you walk through the enchanting border forests of the Heidemoore nature reserve. At the Maas slope you walk through the nature reserve Schlucht to arrive at a viewing platform from where you have a beautiful panorama of the Maas valley. Via narrow forest paths you reach the Dutch nature reserve Holtmühle and the open heath landscape Hühnerkamp. You will arrive at the Galgenvenn and the starting point through an oak avenue and past mammoth trees and wetlands.
