Valley of d'Ars.

From the starting point you follow a unpaved road, you connect to the route of the GR10 that you continue to follow until the end of the walk. The dirt road passes through a beautiful forest. The road turns into a path and after about an hour of walking you arrive at the passerelle de l’Artigous, a beautiful bridge over the river d'Ars. You now follow the route of the GR10 along the forest path that is rising steadily. The Cascade d'Ars are actually three waterfalls that bridge a height difference of more than 246 meters in a very short time. When you leave the forest at the second waterfall, the spectacle begins. In the spring, this waterfall has an impressive width. You return to the path and climb higher to the third waterfall, which is much narrower but thunders down with a deafening noise. Most hikers return after their visit to the falls, but you continue the GR10 route. The path is now very steep. You go through a ravine and once out of the ravine you get immediately a beautiful view of a breathtaking valley. You descend a little bit into the valley to the bridge over the river d'Ars. Here you can really enjoy a piece of French bread and a chunk of cheese far away from all visitors to the falls. You return via the same route to the starting point.
