The walk starts in the center and you soon walk towards the highest point of the route. From the lighthouse you immediately have a beautiful view of the sea, the marshes behind and the sloping hinterland. Via wide unpaved paths it goes to the swamps of Les Huttes where there are numerous hunting huts. Here you can observe many different types of waterfowl, so don't forget binoculars. Henson horses, a breed that originated in the Bay of the Somme, graze on the grasslands. The last part of the walk goes back to Ault via a dike. From the dike you have a beautiful view of the chalk cliffs and the sea. Back in Ault you will pass a beautiful viewpoint before you come back to the starting point.
