Le Dolmen du Chanet.
At the Dolmen you get a fantastic panorama on the Gorges de l'Ardèche as a present, on the opposite side of the river you see the Rocher des Abeillères. Then you begin a long descent to the river. You follow the river banks to the beach of Gournier and the bivouac of the same name. The ideal place to take a dip in the river before you start the steep climb to the plateau.
Sturdy walking shoes recommended.
Take plenty of drinking water with you in warm weather.
It is not recommended to do this walk in humid weather because the stones on the banks of the Ardèche are very slippery!
