Gour De La Sompe.

You start from the parking lot on a dirt road in the direction of the hamlet of Labeaume. You descend to the beautiful valley of the Sompe and then ascend through a beautiful mixed forest to the crest of the valley of the Ibie. Walk on unpaved roads and forest paths to the viewpoint. Here you have a beautiful view of the valley of the Ibie and the surrounding area. Through a narrow passage you climb again to the ridge and go through forest again to the valley of the Sompe. You follow the valley until you reach the waterfalls of La Sompe. The Gour De La Sompe is a double waterfall that opens into a beautiful cirque. You can descend to the lower part of the waterfall but keep in mind that the path is very steep. Often there will be no water flowing and the waterfall is dry, but this location is still a hidden gem. From the waterfall you return to the starting point via a traffic-calmed road.

POI 2 - Gour De La Sompe.

Much of the Sompe's water flows underground. Only after heavy rainfall or in winter and spring we can see water flowing in its course between the rocks. The Sompe forms two waterfalls with a height of about ten meters. Its formation is probably due to the collapse of the vault of an ancient cave.
