In the north of Ninove is a beautiful coulter complex that is highly valuable from a historical and ecological point of view. The route goes through that vast landscape with sunken roads. The name gallows field refers to the lurid function that the area used to have.

Through the coulters.

You leave at the church of Outer and soon you leave the village and walk on wide unpaved roads in the direction of Lebeke. Along the way you have beautiful views of this vast coulter area. After you have walked through Lebeke, cross the Molenbeek and walk in the direction of the 18th century Ruysbroeck chapel. Along the way you walk through some beautiful sunken roads. You walk back to Outer along unpaved roads and a paved church path.
