Ermita de Santa Lucia.

The walk ascends through the Barranc de Carrera to the ridge. Here a dirt road is followed to the Torre Ebri. This tower from the sixteenth century was built as a watchtower to protect the population against attacks by Berber and Turkish pirates. The view from the tower is truly fantastic and in clear weather you can even see the Ebro delta. The route continues along the panoramic road to the Ermita de Santa Lucia. Here you also have a phenomenal view of the Columbretes Islands, the Baix Maestrat and the Plana Alta. The Ermita de Santa Lucia was built in Valencian Baroque style at the end of the 17th century. From the Ermita the route descends to the Chapel of Sant Benet, where you have one last viewpoint. Once back in the valley, the route goes past beautiful orange groves back to the starting point.
