The route goes via bays and beaches, slightly ascending and descending with landscaped stairs or walking paths. There are various information boards along the way with information about flora and fauna. Because it is a micro nature reserve, unique botanical species such as thyme grow there. The route also hosts elements of natural and cultural heritage such as the remains of an old quarry. This was used in the construction of buildings such as the Sala del Consell from the 16th century. This building can be found in the center of Benissa and was originally used as a storage and grain sales point in the Middle Ages.
