From the village of Morrano you first walk through a mosaic of oak, almond trees and fields. Then it continues through a pine forest to the famous rock formation Huevo de Morrano. Here the Peña Falconera in particular will stand out because of its rounded shape, this monolith consists of a mixture of sand and conglomerate that has been shaped by erosion. You will certainly be able to discover nests of griffon vultures in the rock walls of the Huevo de Morrano. You can also spot the rare bearded vulture here.

Huevo de Morrano.
At the Mirrador de Morrano you go back to the A-1227. You cross the road and follow the concrete road until you reach the village. Here you pick up the marking of the trail and turn right. You walk over a beautiful path with a stone wall on the right. At the end of the path you will reach the A-1227, cross the road again. Now follow the wide dirt road, ignoring all side roads. At the intersection with the path that goes to Rodellar you dive into a beautiful pine forest. So keep following the wide forest road and not the direction of Rodellar. When the forest road starts to rise you suddenly arrive at the Peña Falconera. Follow the stony path around the rock and keep following the rock face of the Huevo de Morrano. Once you have passed the rock face, turn a little to the right to cross a valley. After that a short climb back to the Mirrador de Morrano starts.
