An excellent walk to get acquainted with the Serra de São Mamede Natural Park. The route gives you an impression of the surroundings of the village of Santo Antonio. The granite rocks give the landscape a special character. Between all that granite you walk on old medieval paths and unpaved roads where the ancient cork oaks guide you.

Granite and huge cork oaks.

You leave at the edge of the village and go a short distance on a paved road. Then you walk along a beautiful walled path where you are amazed by the granite rock formations. You also climb via an unpaved road to the highest point of the walk where you get a beautiful view of the beautiful village of Marvão.
