Estuary of the Seixe.

You pass through the small hamlet of Praia de Odeceixe and immediately after you arrive at the first viewpoint on the beach and the mouth of the Seixe. A little further on you have a second viewpoint. Past the parking lot you walk on a wide dirt road into the nature reserve Sudoeste Alentejano and Costa Vicentina and you follow the Vicentina coastal path for about three kilometers. Along the way you have beautiful views of the ocean crashing into the cliffs and rocks. You leave the coastal path and follow a dirt road that later turns into a paved road. You go through a heath landscape and then follow an irrigation canal for a short while. Furthermore, you walk again on a dirt road through a eucalyptus forest. You arrive at a paved road that you follow for quite a while until you come to the edge of Odeceixe. Here you can enjoy a beautiful view of the village and the valley of the Seixe from the historic windmill. You descend into the village with many characteristic houses on your route. You leave the village and go first on the paved road, then on a country road, through the valley of the Seixe. At the end of the country road you have to digest some asphalt again until you reach the starting point.
