Along the Rota Vicentina.
The walk starts at the beach of Luz and you start to ascend via a cobblestone road. At the end of the cobblestone road you climb quite steeply to the Obelisk Atalaia, which you can see from afar. At the obelisk you follow the wide dirt road and you immediately have a beautiful view of Luz and the beach. From now on you just follow the coastal path along the cliffs. Along the way you have beautiful views of the ocean and cliffs such as the Rocha Negra, a cliff that is strikingly gray and black in contrast to the rusty brown of all the other cliffs. At the end of the dirt road you come to the beach of Porto Mós. You now go through a residential area for a while and then follow the coastal path again. On the way you have a nice view of Canavial beach. In the distance you can already see the lighthouse of Ponta Da Piedade. Before you reach the Ponta da Piedade you have numerous viewpoints. After you have enjoyed this beautiful place, you return to the starting point via the same route.
Be careful on the edge of the cliffs.
