Walking tour through one of the oldest forests on the Utrechtse Heuvelrug, the Amerongse forest. The forest owes its age to the castle lords of Amerongen Castle, which is located in the Amerongse Bovenpolder. In addition to its age, the Amerongse forest has another special feature: the 69 meter high Amerongse Berg, the highest point of the Utrechtse Heuvelrug.
