The name of the walking tour is derived from the Bebakende Dijk, one of the first roads through this area. The road consisted of beacons placed every 800 to 1000 meters, fourteen in total, on which the travelers could orient themselves. At the Cleefswit estate there are still pieces that used to be part of the Bebakende Dijk. The Cleefswit, De Sijp and the Bunthorst estates are areas with alternating woodland, heather and agricultural land, through which avenues run with beech and American oak. De Groote Slink has been laid out in English landscape style, it also consists of alternation of forest, heather and agricultural land with beautiful vistas around the beautifully situated Slink pond. The nature of the De Krim estate consists of coniferous forests and heaths, with these heaths you get a good impression of what it once looked like here.
