Liessel forest.

The forest area has been transformed into a more natural forest area, making it an attractive walking area with wide forest paths interspersed with winding narrow forest paths. As a point of interest, one passes by the mill "De Volksvriend" and along a few long-walled farms.

The motocross track of MC Deurne is situated in the Liessel forests, which can also cause noise nuisance during competition days.

POI 1 - Mill De Volksvriend.

Mill De Volksvriend is a round stone mill. This belt mill was built in 1903 and is used as a flour mill. In the autumn of 1944 the mill was damaged by war. In 1946 the mill was repaired with parts of the dismantled stone belt mill from Bergeijk.
