The Baybach and the Barreterlei.

After only a few meters the steep downhill goes into the narrow, deep valley that the river "Baybach" has worn in the slate of the Hunsrück. Along this river the route goes over narrow paths along rocky, moss-covered slopes. Then the path leaves the canyon and starts to rise again. Enjoy idyllic paths and beautiful panoramas from multiple vantage points on excellent rocks on this extremely impressive route, with the "Barreterlei" as a spectacular highlight.
