Moeflons.
Mouflons were released back from Corsica in the Haut Languedoc nature park in the middle of the last century. Their number is estimated at around 1500. They are wild sheep and the ancestors of our regular sheep. On this walk there is a good chance that you will encounter these beautiful animals. The best time to see mouflons is at sunrise or at dusk, when the animals are the most active. There are also many wild boars in this part of the nature park, the traces of which you will certainly encounter at the start of the walk.
