This beautiful walk first goes along the banks of La Jonte and then rises to the Causse Noir. Here you can take a little detour to the remains of the hermitage of Saint-Michel. Further on the Causse you pass the old rock formation Le Champignon Préhistorique and before you descend you have a fantastic panorama of the Gorges of the Jonte. Along the way you will certainly be able to observe griffon vultures from very close by.

This walk takes you high above the Tarn to the ancient cave dwellings of the hamlets of Eglazines and Saint-Marcellin. In the Cirque of Saint-Marcellin you have beautiful views of the Tarn valley. Afterwards you walk over the immense Causse de Sauveterre with panoramas that reach in clear weather to the Millau viaduct.
