This walk goes through the valley of Le Rif to the Pas du Loup from where you go through a forest to the high mountain pastures of the Tête du Mouret. Here you have a beautiful view of the Gorges du Eygues and the surrounding mountains. Via the Montrond, of which you can take the name of the mountain very literally, you return to the starting point.

Tête du Mouret.

This walk goes through the beautiful valley of Le Rif to the Pas du Loup. After this pass you start a steep climb through a beautiful forest to reach an open plain where the flowers are immediately noticeable in the spring. On the Tête du Mouret (1010 meters) you have a beautiful view of the Gorges De L 'Eygues and the Plateau de Saint-Laurent. Via the Montrond, you can take the name of the mountain very literally, it goes back to the valley from the way there.

POI 1 - Vultures.

Nine griffon vultures were released in Rémuzat in 1996, today the colony has 150 couples. In addition to the Griffon Vulture, you may also be lucky enough to observe the Monk Vulture or the very rare Bearded Vulture. The Maison des Vautours is located in the same building as the Tourist Office of Rémuzat. You can watch an exhibition and a video about the reintroduction of vultures on the Rocher du Caire.
