• Deelerwoud

    Walk in the Deelerwoud nature reserve through the Grote Heide, Kleine Heide and mixed forests. The rolling landscape, heathland as far as you can see and also a lot of chance to spot wild animals make this route highly recommended.

  • Overasseltse and Hatertse Vennen Tour

    Hiking tour for forest and heath enthusiasts in an area rich in fens. The walking tour goes through the Overasseltse and Hatertse Vennen and the Heumense Bos.

  • Rheder- en Worth-Rhederheide

    Walk through the Veluwezoom National Park, over the Rheder- and Worth-Rhederheide. The route goes in this undulating landscape through the heath and forest to the viewpoint on the Elsberg where you may spot deer and Scottish Highlanders.

  • Stray boulders route

    This beautiful walk in the Loenermark nature reserve goes through the Loenense forest and Groenouwe estate to the Zilvense Heide. The route takes you alternately through woods, past sand drifts and moors with nice views.

  • To Fort Honswijk

    Hike along the Nieuwe Hollandse Waterlinie, a line where water was the defense weapon. The hike goes through De Steenwaard to the Werk aan de Groeneweg, via Werk aan de Korte Uitweg along a rampart with behind it a military road, the so-called Gedekte Gemeentesweg, to Fort Honswijk. After leaving Fort Honswijk, the walking tour continues through De Steenwaard and then crosses the river via the Liniepontje to Fort Everdingen or Werk aan het Spoel. After a visit to defense works, the walking tour goes through the Goilberdingerwaard and the Baarsemwaard back to Culemborg.

  • To the Posbank

    A varied walk through the Herikhuizerveld and the Smitsbos to the well-known Posbank. The Posbank is a monumental bench and popularly also the name for the hilly moorland in which it lies, but this area is actually called the Herikhuizerveld. This hilly moorland is a real gem in the Veluwezoom National Park.
