Smugglers.

The walk first goes to the Dead Yser, an old meander of the current that flows through the center of Roesbrugge. The route then leads along the Zwijnbeek, the Yser and the Heidebeek. They form a natural border with France, de schreve. You arrive in the picturesque village of Haringe, where the stories about smugglers come to life. From the village you walk back through country, church and quiet roads in the direction of Roesbrugge and you go over rural paved roads to a bridge over the Yser. Here is the turning point and you now go back to the starting point along a path next to the Yser. Quiet roads characterize this tour.
