This walk starts in Louftémont, which means wolf mountain. You will not encounter wolves, but you will enjoy the nice views of the rolling landscape with old mowing meadows. In the forest of Anlier you walk through the beautiful valley of the Arlune with some peat areas where the inhabitants of the surrounding villages cut peat. The combination of forest and open meadows also makes this an ideal habitat for birds of prey such as the buzzard, sparrow hawk, kestrel and Montagu's harrier.

Wolf mountain.
The route goes through the village in the direction of the hamlet of Vlessart, on the way you make a detour through a beautiful forest. Once through Vlessart, you continue on a paved road with limited traffic until you reach the Anlier forest. From here you follow the beautiful valley of the Arlune. A peat area gives you a view of this unique landscape. You leave the valley and climb through the forest until you come back into an open landscape. You can enjoy the view from a bench. On the last part you get a nice panorama of the whole area to reach Louftémont again.
