Le Tombeau du Chevalier.

From the starting point you immediately walk into the forest and follow a wide unpaved forest road. The Conques forest consists of 80% deciduous forest. You go over the tunnel of Sainte-Cécile without noticing it. After you have made a large wide loop, you continue on a forest path to the first viewpoint of Libaipire. Here you have a fantastic view of the meander of the Semois, which is called the Tomb of the Knight. Le Tombeau Du Chevalier indicates the island between the meander that is said to resemble a knight's grave. The ruins of Herbeumont castle are also clearly visible from here. There is also a bench at the viewpoint. You continue along the narrow forest path and soon arrive at the second viewpoint of Libaipire. Here you also have a nice view of the Semois and there is also a bench and shelter. You will now continue on mostly wide dirt forest roads until you reach the N884 - Rue de Conques. Cross the road and follow the paved road Rue d'Herbeumont for about 900 meters. After you have picked up the GR16 you walk back and forth to the viewpoint of Castelin. Here you have a nice view of the Semois again and there is also a bench. From now on you follow the banks of the Semois, first on a wide dirt road and at the end on a narrow forest path that rises to the cave of Notre-Dame de Lourdes. Just a little more and you reach the Rue de Conques again. Follow the road for 300 meters to return to the starting point.
