The province of Girona is rich of nature to walk in. In addition to protected natural parks such as l'Albera, Cap de Creus, Dels Aiguamolls de L'Empordà, Del Montgrí, les Illes Medes i el Baix Ter, Zona Volcànica de la Garrotxa and Montseny, there are still many beautiful natural areas such as the wooded area of Les Gavarres and the coasts from Cap de Begur to Cap de Sant Sebastià and from Sant Feliu de Guíxols to Tossa de Mar.

In addition to the beautiful coastal paths on the Costa Dorada, the province still has a lot to offer when it comes to walking in nature. Tarragona has some breathtakingly beautiful natural parks. Serra del Montsant Natural Park and Prades Natural Park in the north and Els Ports Natural Park in the south. In addition, you have the unique Ebro Delta.

The Pyrenees of Lleida, a whole world to discover, nature at its purest. Particularly noteworthy is the National Park of Aigüestortes in Estany de Sant Maurici and the nature parks of the Cadí-Moixerò and of the Alt Pirineu. The Pyrenees in Lleida are home to some of the highest mountains in Catalonia. The Pica d'Estats, on the border with France, is the highest peak at 3,143 meters, but several other areas are about 3,000 meters high: Els Besiberris, El Comaloforno, El Montardo, El Gran Tuc de Colomers, Els Pics de Bassiero and El Montsent de Pallars.
