POI 1 - Wissower Klinken.

These chalk cliffs most likely served as a model for the well-known painting 'Chalk Cliffs on Rügen' by Casper David Friedrich. This is certainly an important attraction for art lovers, but it is also an impressive display for others. The white rocks contrast beautifully with the green of the surrounding nature. The high points of the rocks were unfortunately demolished in 2005, but it remains a beautiful sight.

POI 5 - Victoria viewpoint.

At the Victoria viewpoint you have the best view of the famous Kӧningsstuhl. A chalk cliff with a story. The name Königsstuhl is said to be traced back to an event in 1715 in which the Swedish King Charles XII led a naval battle against the Danes from this point. The battle is said to have made the ruler so tired that he had a chair brought for him. However, the name Königsstuhl was already used in 1584 in a travelogue by Father Rhenan, who had to locate mineral springs on behalf of the Duke of Pomerania, so the naming dates back much earlier. According to another legend, the name comes from the fact that in ancient times the person who first managed to climb the chalk cliffs from the side of the sea and sit on the seat at the top was elected king.
