Nature reserve of Nyer.
From the parking you walk through the old part of Nyer where you cross the Mantet. At Place de la Résistance, take the cami d’En, an old mule track. This steep path leads you to the abandoned hamlet of En. The hamlet was abandoned in 1950, but restoration work has now begun. The bread oven and washing area are good examples of this. From the hamlet you walk further towards the chapel of En, officially the Église Saint-Just-et-Saint-Pasteur d'En. This chapel is beautifully situated with a beautiful view of the valley of the Têt and the nature reserve of Nyer. It is an ideal place for a picnic. On a dirt road you walk back to the mule track that takes you back to the starting point.
