Manual Download Walk

You can download the GPS file in GPX format and / or the route description in PDF format of a walk in two ways. The first option is to obtain the files by entering your email address without having an account. The second and most direct way is to create an account so that you can download the files directly.

How to download?

  1. You do not have an account:
At the very bottom of the article is a bar with the title 'Downloads'. Choose the 'Mail GPX' button if you want to download the GPS file. Choose the 'Mail PDF' button if you want to download the route description. A window will open asking you to enter your email address. After entering your email address, check the 'I agree with the terms of use' box. You can of course always read the conditions of use first. Click on the 'Start Download' link. The file will now be sent to your mailbox. Keep in mind that it may take a few minutes for the file to appear in your mailbox. If this is not the case, check your junk mail or spam folder.

Why two ways?

Trailexplorer can only exist because users come to the site to view walking routes and hopefully also to walk them. The 'competition' is fierce and therefore the first method asks for your email address so that you are automatically included is the newsletter file. You can of course unsubscribe from the list for the newsletter. Each newsletter has a link at the bottom that will delete you from the list. All personal information on the list is only used for this purpose. Your privacy is our top priority. If you wish to download files directly, without specifying your email address, you can create an account. This way brings a clear time saving. The choice is yours.

Do not hesitate to contact us via the contact form if you have additional questions!

We wish you lots of surfing and hiking pleasure.
