The walk goes through the Lovenhoek nature reserve in the valley of the winding Molenbeek. The lesser-known Molen forest with beech trees that are more than a hundred years old also makes this walk highly recommended.

Molen forest
From the starting point you quickly walk through the valley of the meandering Molenbeek. Wooden platform paths, bridges and step trunks help you to bridge the moist river banks. The landscape also consists of old deciduous forests, coniferous trees, pools, heather and moist wetlands. Sheep and Galloways provide natural grazing for the site. Once you leave the nature reserve you walk further through an open landscape to the lesser known Molen forest. In this forest, the more than a hundred year old beeches will certainly stand out. After this short piece of forest, you walk back through the Lovenhoek nature reserve to the starting point.
