Laguna de Cebollera.
The walk follows a dirt road, which climbs steeply, to the picturesque glacial lake Laguna de Cebollera. The lake is one of the few glacial lakes in Spain. The lake was formed by glacial activity during an ice age that ended about 10,000 years ago. It is an example of a bowl-shaped depression in the mountains formed by glaciers. Take a break at the lake and then start the climb to the Alto De La Chopera at an altitude of 2,135 metres. Along the way you have beautiful views of the lake and the surroundings. Once you reach the top, you follow a fairly flat plain in the direction of the Pico Cebollera. First you descend a little to start the last climb. You can see the geodetic point on the top from far away. The summit is at an altitude of 2,142 metres and is therefore one of the prominent peaks in the Sistema Ibérico. The view from the top is spectacular, with panoramic views over the valleys and mountains of the Sierra de Cabollera. You return to the starting point via the same route.
