Shortly after departure you will arrive at Monte Corona where the Ermita San Esteban is located. Here you have a beautiful view of the coast, but also of the mountains behind it, such as the Picos De Europa.

Ermita San Esteban.

From the parking you walk in the direction of the Ermita San Esteban which is located on Monte Corona. You start to descend via wide unpaved forest roads. Your companion are the mixed forests where the eucalyptus and chestnut trees stand out. At the deepest point the ground becomes moister and you have to make a small detour because the road has completely sunk. You start to climb back up and eventually you can see the high tower of the fire watch in the distance. You will arrive at the Mirador Pintores Montaneses from where you have a beautiful view of the sea.
