Cape of Saint Vincent.

From the lighthouse you walk over the jagged rocks along the coastline to enjoy the view of the Pedra Das Gaivotas, a rock island, close to the cliffs. From the viewpoint you walk to a hill where you follow the coastal path over the Rota Vicentina. Along the way you have beautiful views and eventually you come high above the beautiful beach of Telheiro. You will certainly see surfers at work here. From the beach you walk inland over an immense plain to the other side of the peninsula. Here you pick up the Rota Vicentina again and you get a nice view of the fortress of Sagres and the village of Sagres. Return to the departure point via the fortress of Santo António de Belixe.
