POI 1 - Reinhardstein castle.

The castle, unique in Belgium today, was erected in 1354 for Count Wenzel of Luxembourg by his vassal Reinhard van Weismes. It remained the property of the Count of Nassau until 1550 and came into the possession of the Metternich family through a marriage. After it was destroyed, it was rebuilt from 1969 in accordance with the historical data. A collection of weapons, tapestries, lithic clothing and life-size handmade sculptures contribute to the historic value of this place.
